Google Maps is one of the best apps I have on my phone as of the moment. I have been to a lot of places in the Philippines and I tell you, Google Maps can do the job. The best thing about it is that it’s free and you need no internet connection to use it. Just download the map of the place you’re visiting prior to actually leaving your place. And you’re all set.
Let me show you how to use Google Maps for your next adventure.
- Download Google Maps
The app is available in Google Play for Android users and Apple Store for IOS users.
2. Open Google Maps
3. Search for the city or province you will be visiting. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen so that the option to download will appear.
4. Click Download. The app will give you the option as to what specific area would you like to download. It’ll also give you the estimated amount of memory space on your phone it would consume. Once you have selected the area you want to download, click download at the bottom.
5. This is how it would look like once it starts downloading your map. Once it’s finished, you can now use Google Maps even without internet connection.
