It has been my long time dream to be able to explore the Mountain Province. I have heard stories about Sagada a lot of times but it was only when I saw the film “That Thing Called Tadhana” that I was able to have a concrete picture of what it looks like. So without much hesitation, we booked our flight right after seeing the film for the first time. I was with three of my other friends and we have decided to include Banaue and a little bit of Baguio in our itinerary.

We initially planned to go straight to Sagada from Baguio but because of some troubles we experienced along the way, we missed the last bus to Sagada. But instead of staying in Baguio for the night and travel the next morning, we chose to ride the bus to Bontoc instead which is 1 hour away from Sagada and spent the night there.

So I’d like to share to you our itinerary and other important information that might help you plan your next trip to the Mountain Province.
